PEARL

If we're being technical here, she's the one who started it all. A quick thank you to Mrs. Renaud and all of Drew Elementary School for forcing me to submit a poem in my fourth grade English class.

There once was a girl,

her name was Pearl,

who lived on the shore by the sea.

Her only wish

was to be a fish,

but the best fish there ever could be.

She met a man

with a golden pan

who helped her grant her wish.

So thanks to Dan,

the man with the pan,

Pearl finally became a fried fish.
